Local Shop stewards Trainings on Gender and Sexual Harassment running in 60 locals from May to Nov 09

To increase shop stewards’ understanding on gender and the impact unequal gender relations have on workers' struggles

Improved cooperative gender and equal power relations amongst all our members.
Improved integration of gender issues in union activities

Targeting 30 locals spread across provinces

Educators and Gender Coordinators are responsible for coordination of this activity

National Women’s School: August Month 2009

To give women leadership a space to learn from each other’s experience while celebrating their achievements

Improved Capacity of Women to push issues that affect them direct. Improved confidence to participate in union activities without barriers
