SATAWU SCORES VICTORY FOR PHEPHA MV SECURITY WORKERS
SATAWU scored a victory for 141 Grade C security officers employed by Phepha MV Security when the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) ordered the company to pay in excess of R1,2 million being annual bonuses entitlements and accrued annual leave owed to workers.
The workers were represented by Secunda Local Coordinator Lucky Zondo. Phepha MV Security was one of the companies cited when workers marched to the office of the Mpumalanga Premier, Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane, in July to protest non-payment of wages and benefits.
