Labour unions rejected the revise wage offer employers put on the table when parties met at the CCMA on 7 November.
The revised offer is as follows:
Basic salary R4 596 + R145 Wellness premium = R4 841 which is equivalent to 8.4%
Basic salary R4 826 + R310 Wellness premium = R5 146 which is equivalent to 8.3%
Basic salary R5 067 + R433 Wellness premium, R100 Med aid = R5 600 equivalent to 8.2%
*An increase of 433 which is equivalent to 8.5% will be added in the 4th year while negotiations unfold.
The CCMA instructed unions to submit picketing areas nationally in two weeks so picketing rules can be drafted and the certificate can be issued.
