WATCH: SATAWU-NTI strike | Members demonstrate over contract

August 19, 2019Zanele SabelaBuses, News Report, Passenger TrasportNo comments

Members of the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union known as SATAWU at North West Transport Investment, the NTI, are marching to the Department of Transport in Pretoria this morning to demonstrate over what they call “their displeasure” at statements allegedly made by Minister Fikile Mbalula. The NTI bus service is contesting the transport department’s decision not to renew their contract when it ends next year in April. In studio to talk to us more about the march is SATAWU’s spokesperson, Zanele Sabela.
